Mounting

Cladding sheets are normally mounted according to application drawings (engineering). Cladding sheets are mounted following a direction dictated by their location within the structure, and the dominant wind direction. A basic rule is that the overlapping (connection) trapezoid should be directed opposite to wind direction. In the case of KONTITHERM 10 panels, these should be marked as clockwise (R) or counter - clockwise (L) depending on their mounting direction, looking from the gutter to the ridge. R1000 panel is right (of clockwise) when the connecting trapezoid is located to the right of the panel cross section.
Protective films should be removed immediately following panel mounting.
Trapezoid sheet and panel cuts using a disc cutter, hand saw or oxygen flame are not encouraged.
On the contrary, the use of iron jigsaw or iron pantograph is highly recommended, since these respect the material and produce clean cuts. They also provide the possibility of irregularly shaped cuts. For trapezoid sheet drilling and fastening, the appropriate tools in each case should be used.
